Hi!
My name is Mansee (pronounced MAHN-see) Khurana. I’m a producer at NPR’S Morning Edition. Previously, I focused on the 2022 midterm elections as part of the Bookings and Special Coverage Team at NPR. I’m also a freelance reporter with bylines in The Atlantic, The New York Times and The Verge.
In October 2021, I joined NPR as an intern on the Education Desk and Throughline, NPR’s history podcast.
I graduated from New York University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Philosophy and a minor in Psychology. While at NYU, I interned at NBC News Politics, NBC THINK and Psychology Today. Before all of that, I was a Senior Editor at the Washington Square News, NYU’s student-run independent newspaper and a Campus Free Speech intern at PEN America.
When I’m not researching new story ideas or frantically writing a draft, you can find me biking around Virgnia, watching a movie in Mt.Pleasant, or frantically crocheting in Malcom X Park.
Currently (as of October 2024), I’m
